Product Overview

Counted Cross Stitch sampler featuring Gawthorpe Hall in Lancashire.  This was the family home of Rachel Kay-Shuttleworth (1886-1967), who acquired a vast textiles collection during her lifetime and was a masterful needlewoman herself, our design features some of the detail from this inspirational and varied collection.  She opened her 'Craft House' to teach, share and promote needlecraft skills to both the local and wider community.

Worked in full cross stitch throughout, so fast and fun to stitch.

The kit contains 14 Count white Aida, 6-stranded Anchor embroidery threads, needle, chart and instructions.

Size of finished embroidery approx 25cm (10 in) square.
