Counted Cross Stitch Sampler Kit in celebration of the birth of the incomparable and much loved novelist, Jane Austen. The year 2025 marks the 250th anniversary of her birth, on a bitter winter's night during Advent, in the parsonage at Steventon, Hampshire.
Our brand new Riverdrift design captures the mood of that snowy night, Jane's countryside home for the next 25 years, with St Nicholas Church - where her father was the Rector, together with intials for her parents, George and Cassandra Austen (nee Leigh).
Worked in full cross stitch throughout, as are all our Riverdrift Kit designs, so fast and fun to stitch.
The kit contains 14 Count white Aida, 6-stranded Madeira embroidery threads, needle, chart and instructions.
