Product Overview
Counted Cross Stitch sampler in celebration of the famous Huguenot baker Solange Luyon (Sally Lunn).
Along with many other refugees, she fled France seeking safety in England, to make a life in Bath. Famous for her 'Bunns', a century on, these remained a favourite breakfast of Jane Austen when in Bath - and visitors can still enjoy tea, buns and cake in the very same tea rooms open today.
Worked in full cross stitch throughout, as are all our Riverdrift Kit designs, so fast and fun to stitch.
The kit contains 14 Count white Aida, 6-stranded Madeira embroidery threads, needle, chart and instructions.
Size of finished embroidery approx 23.5 x 30.3cm (9 1/4" x 12").
