Counted Cross Stitch sampler featuring the delightful Godmersham Park in Kent, notable as the home of Jane Austen's brother, Edward (and his 11 children). Visited frequently by Jane and her family and said to be the inspiration for Mansfield Park.
Our design includes the Great House in it's beautiful parkland setting beside the River Stour, St Lawrence's Church, Temple Folly, with references to JA Jane Austen, cricket, 18th century interior details, contemporay garden sculpture 'Boxing Hares', and more. Worked in full cross stitch throughout, so fast and fun to stitch.
The kit contains 14 Count white Aida, 6-stranded Madeira embroidery threads, needle, chart and instructions.
